Theology For Men of the West: Hypergamy

The Nature Of Women

In Genesis 3:16 we find the judgment of woman, by God:

To the woman He said,
“I will greatly multiply
Your pain in childbirth,
In pain you will bring forth children;
Yet your desire will be for your husband,
And he will rule over you.”

This passage has been the subject of much argument within the church, to the point that the translation is being changed.  It’s pretty straightforward until you get to the word that’s translated as “desire.”  Before we get to the real problem, let’s look at the word itself, which is only used three times in all of Scripture.  The first is in the passage quoted above, the second is in Genesis 4:7

If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.”

Obviously, in that passage the meaning of the word desire is a desire to control or to conquer.  The only other use of the word is in the Song of Solomon 7:10, in which the word desire is clearly used to mean sexual desire.

“I am my beloved’s, and his desire is for me.

So, in Genesis 3:16, what does that word “desire” mean?

The Fundamental Assumption Is The Problem

You can guess what happened, right?  Everybody staked out a position on the word desire as meaning either a desire to control or a sexual desire because the fundamental assumption is the word has ONLY ONE MEANING.  This is incorrect in this case because this isn’t an either-or choice.  The observed nature of women demonstrates that the definition is both, as we shall see.

“Your desire shall be for your husband and he shall rule over you.”

The object of woman’s desire is for her man and “man” is defined as one who will “rule, have dominion, reign over you”.

Your desire shall be for [the man who rules over you].   The word translated as “rule over” is the Hebrew word mashal (Strong’s 4910), which is a verb.  An active verb.  What about the woman who has a man who does not rule over her?  Is her desire for him?  What about the woman who does not have a man?  Does she have no desire for men?

[A woman’s] desire shall be for [the man who is fit to rule over her].

This puts it into an easy-to-understand form and allows us to go back and look at the word desire again, which raises the critical question:  How does the woman know the man is fit to rule over her?

Every woman has an attraction point and her personal preferences are irrelevant because at some point she will be attracted to a man.  What happens next?  First, the woman wants to confirm the man’s fitness so she tests him.  These tests are commonly known as “shit tests” or “fitness tests.”  If she can conquer/control him he fails the test.  If he blows through her tests and demonstrates his fitness to rule her, then her desire to conquer him is satisfied (temporarily) and her desire becomes sexual in nature.

  • Interest –>  Man is Tested –>  Man’s Fitness Proved  –>  Attraction
  • Interest –>  Man is Tested –>  Man Fails Tests  –>  All Attraction Dies

Fitness testing is ongoing.  No matter how long the relationship lasts, there will always be fitness testing because the woman needs to know the man still has what it takes.  Think of it as checking boundaries.  One of the foundational Red Pill truths is all women really are like that.  Your mother, your sister, your girlfriend or your wife.  AWALT.  Why?  Because God said so.  Don’t believe it?  Go argue with Him.

What happens when a woman meets a man who is more fit to rule than her husband?  That depends on whether her husband is meeting her needs and we’ll talk about that in a bit.

It has only been since 1960 that unrestrained hypergamy has been possible and it has only been apparent in the past few decades.  Prior to that it was assumed by the tradition of long-held belief that women were not like that because there were numerous social restrictions and cultural mores that restrained women’s hypergamy.  This is possibly the first time in all of history in which unrestrained hypergamy has become apparent to all, due to women’s ability to provide provisioning for themselves and control their fertility.

The Dark Side Of Hypergamy

What happens when the man does not pass her fitness tests?  In the beginning, what little attraction she might have had for him dries up and dies on the spot.  In an existing relationship if he lets himself lose control and starts failing her tests she will become frustrated and test him all the harder, hoping he can pass her tests.  She is looking for her ruler and he’s not showing up.  If he continually fails her tests she will eventually seethe with contempt for him.  At this point the relationship is doomed.

When she encounters a man who displays the dominance her husband lacks, her desire will shift to that man regardless of the past, regardless of her supposed commitment and without regard for anyone’s feelings.   That is the nature of hypergamy.  In fact, unless the woman is so completely focused on her man (meaning he is the right man) that she’s completely uninterested in any other man, then under the right conditions she will cheat.  So many men have been lied to all their lives about women that encountering the true nature of women blows their mind.  There is a fantasy that says a woman needs time, she needs a relationship, she needs to be “in love” or she needs to feel secure before having sex.  No.  The truth is that it comes down to a simple formula:

The right man at the right time in the right place with the right line.

That’s all it takes.  The right man is a man she finds highly attractive, far more attractive than the man she is with.  The right place and the right time subjectively refer to her accountability.   The right line is the one that passes her tests and indicates he is attracted to her. This is a matrix and each point is subjective depending on the values of the other points.  For the man who is insanely attractive to her, she will take chances and risk getting caught.   For less attractive men she has to have the time and place where she can achieve what she wants with him.  She still has desires, just not enough to overcome all caution.

Let’s say she’s on a business trip out of town to a convention, staying in the convention center hotel.  She’s away from home and everyone who knows her and could recognize her.  Staying in a hotel room, no-one will know (or care) who she gets in bed with.  No-one is keeping tabs on her and indeed, no-one can.  In such a situation the man does not need to be all that attractive, just more attractive than what she already has.  Add a little alcohol and inhibitions drop.  So do the panties.

Anyone who thinks women don’t understand this is an idiot.  Some women bind themselves with rules and boundaries in order to guard themselves because they know what they are really like, but such women are rare. Feminism works hard to convince women they should put themselves in positions where their hypergamy can wreak havoc.  Women who restrain themselves and set boundaries are extremely rare.

I am convinced some women defend their lack of attraction to their husband by making themselves gross because they do not want to be tempted by an attractive man and thereby betray their husband and family.  However, for every woman like that there are likely dozens of women who are not attracted to their husband and refuse to do the work of maintaining their attractiveness because they doesn’t think he deserves it.  The number of women who dramatically lose weight and become more attractive following a divorce tends to prove it was voluntary on her part to become gross in the first place.

Again, the right man at the right time in the right place with the right line.  That’s all it takes to trigger the hypergamy.  Nothing else will matter because hypergamy doesn’t care.  Relationship, marriage, kids, good reputation, friendships, none of it matters because hypergamy doesn’t care.  And yes, all women are like that.  The wisest man who ever lived had this to say on the subject (Ecclesiastes 7:28):

while I was still searching but not finding– I found one upright man among a thousand, but not one upright woman among them all.

All women are like that because God said so.  Rollo Tomassi’s post “Hypergamy Doesn’t Care” illustrates this wonderfully:

  • Hypergamy doesn’t care about yesterday, only about today and tomorrow.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care how great a Father you are to your kids.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care about God or hell.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care if you don’t understand what hypergamy is.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care if you win the nobel peace prize, cure cancer, and put an end world hunger.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care how ‘supportive’ you’ve always been of her decisions or if you identify as a ‘male feminist’.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care about the sincerity of your religious convictions or aspirations of high purpose.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care about those words that were said at your wedding.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care about how you funded her going back to college to find a more rewarding career.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care how great a guy you are for adopting the children she had with other men.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care about you forgiving her “youthful indiscretions.”
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care about consequences.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care about your magnanimity in assuming responsibility for her student loans and credit card debt after you’re married.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care if “he was your best friend.”
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care about bringing her coffee in bed or how great a cook you are.
  • Hypergamy doesn´t care about your effort, it cares only about the results.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care about how well you do your part of the household chores.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care about how much her family or friends like you.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care if you think you’re a “Good” guy or about how convincing your argument is for your sense of honor.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care whether the children are biologically yours or not.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care if “she was drunk, he was cute, and one thing led to another,..”
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care how sweet, funny or intellectual you are.
  • Hypergamy doesn’t care if you “never saw it coming.”

Hypergamy is the nature of women because God caused it to be this way.  Anyone who opens their eyes and looks around can see that becoming a Christian doesn’t make God’s judgement on women go away any more than it makes a banged up slut suddenly becomes a virgin again.  It is wise to understand the nature of women before making a commitment because the second biggest commitment you can possibly make is choosing a wife (the biggest is choosing to commit yourself to the Lord).  Proverbs 18:22 says:

He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.

Scripture also contains many warnings about women, such as this from Proverbs 25:24.

It is better to live in a corner of the roof than in a house shared with a contentious woman.

And a more ominous one from  Proverbs 30:20

This is the way of an adulterous woman:
She eats and wipes her mouth,
And says, “I have done no wrong.”

Because hypergamy doesn’t care.  “I have done no wrong” sums it up nicely.

A woman’s desire is for a man who is fit to rule her, a man who rules over her.  That is the essence of hypergamy and it behooves men to understand that.  Men, be fit to rule.

Now, once again, who gave women hypergamy?
As for “Men, be fit to rule.”, the goalposts keep getting moved.

    • God created hypergamy, it’s not an evolutionary development. God did it as part of the judgement of Woman in Genesis 3:16. Some argue that giving women pain in childbirth was Eve’s curse and the hypergamy is God’s curse on Adam (men in general).

Fit to rule is moving the goalposts? I adopted “fit to rule” as a Bibliocentric, non-evolutionary position that is distinct from the normal “be an alpha” advice one finds elsewhere. The reason is it conforms to what the Bible actually says. Women want a ruler who is fit to rule over them.

The PUA emphasize being an alpha and dominating, but there is more to it than that. One of the points Athol Kay made in his book “Married Man Sex Life Primer” was that for a long-term relationship (marriage) the woman needed a combination of the alpha dominance and beta comfort. One of the things I really liked about the book was the discussion of the dopamine response to alpha dominance and the oxytocin response to the beta comfort. Women need both and it needs to be in balance in order to work for the long-haul.

“Fit to Rule” encompasses the alpha masculine dominance, confidence and charisma of a man who has what it takes to be a ruler along with the beta character traits that make him fit to rule. Wisdom, loyalty, steadfastness, courage, truthfulness, justice and fairness.

        Artisanal Toad,
What I see women doing is yielding to their hypergamy and then testing their men until they fail. Which, they will inevitably. As for “fit to rule”, there is the threshold of acceptability to pass. The 80/20 rule is too generous. It may be in the single digits of percentile for men. To put it bluntly, women have gotten so picky that natural alphas are walking away.

        • Fuzzie,

By definition, if the man can’t pass her fitness tests, she is not the one for him. I don’t believe it’s inevitable that men will fail a woman’s tests because those tests are invariably a test to see whose frame is the strongest. If the man is failing the tests his frame isn’t strong enough to pass them. He needs to up his game.

Women are too picky? They’re giving it up for someone. Be that man. This is where Rollo’s SMV curve explains things. Men don’t hit their prime until about 35 years of age, but women hit their peak at about age 22. Men dropping down a decade to find a wife is nothing if they’re high value en. When the women are young, in their early 20’s, it only becomes a problem when the man is old enough to be her father. Even then there is a surprisingly large segment of women who are OK with that.

I do understand what you are saying, though. Women have been deluded by all the attention they get and their ability to have sex with high-value men causes them to think their value is higher than it is. This is where game comes in. Even though the knowledge of game is widespread, very few men have tight game and have done the other work to make themselves high-value.

One thing will shine through more than anything else and that’s confidence. Irrational, exuberant confidence.

I’ve repeatedly given advice I’ve taken in my own life because I know it works. Hit the gym and develop your physique while losing the fat. Get down to around 10%-12% bodyfat to display your 6-pack abs. Learn how to fight and win. The confidence inspired by knowing you can fight and win is difficult to describe. Learn game and internalize it. Approach women, learn to be comfortable with women and develop your game. This takes time and practice. Develop your career so you’re making a good income.

Learn how to dress and develop your own style. Emphasis on *your own* style, not copying some media figure. You are molding yourself into a high-value man that other men admire and appreciate. This is a benefit to you in your career, your personal life and everything you do… not just with women.

After you’ve done all that, there will still be women who aren’t interested in you. So what? There’s a new crop of women coming along every year and the ones rejecting you are just going to get older, jaded, bitter and ugly. Focus on you. Believe it or not, the difference between alphas and ordinary men is that alphas don’t get rejected as often as ordinary guys. But that doesn’t mean they don’t get rejected.

        Artisanal Toad,
Years ago, I came to this little corner of the internet to figure out why I wasn’t having any luck with online dating. A few weeks ago, I saw an interview with Stefan Molyneux and The Private Man. He used to blog about how to succeed in that venue. He admitted that he had to send out one hundred messages to average one date. He is not bad looking and is a professional writer. I guess I finally learned. Online dating is the last stop for a lot of us. I may have given up or, maybe, I am recovering. While I appreciate your advice, I think it may not apply in a culture where women are encouraged to shut down men at every opportunity. When they finally get around to choosing a man, women don’t choose too well.

  2. SnapperTrx says:

This should be written down somewhere and made required reading for every young man. Though many would not accept it at first, at minimum when they start to experience it they would remember that they have already heard about hypergamy and can start to recognize it. Every word of this article is true. Just because someone hasn’t experienced it yet doesn’t mean its not out there, but trust me, its out there.

    • anglosaxon says:

Problem is most males are brought up by girls. I remember at school most of my teachers were female and they were very willing to suppress any display of masculinity. They hated us doing rough sports during lunch time. And then women whine when most men are weak! When you come out of the state education system you’re already damaged by it. Throw in how bad church is for boys and the situation is very bad. At least the bitchy females and weak males won’t procreate!

Women should bring up boys when they are very young but after that they should be with men and other boys. The good news is with most males being in such a poor state work on improving yourself will bear fruit very quickly.

      • SnapperTrx says:

I 100% agree with this. One of my best teachers, in fact, the one that got me interested in reading, was a man. Because of him I absorbed books like mad growing up. Thousands of pages a week. Female teachers caused me the most headache in school with many of them being seriously bipolar (laughing at a kids joke one second, then screaming at him the next for disrupting the class) to just downright mean.

Modern churches are not fairing well, but don’t tell Christians that. You can’t be “not in a church” because God commands us to be involved in a church! I mean, who cares that we are teaching bad doctrine and don’t know the names of 75% of our congregation! But we need $120,000 by the end of the quarter to be in the black after all of our expansions and equipment upgrades! To the tithe-mobile!

Sorry….got a little carried away at the end there…..

      • anglosaxon says:

I remember our Maths classes. There is nothing more pathetic than a young woman trying and failing to control a class of rowdy boys. How am I supposed to respect a creature that is significantly weaker than I am? And most of the stuff we learned was pointless and irrelevant.

I was told that me finding church boring is because ‘your relationship with Jesus isn’t very good, if your relationship with Jesus was better you would enjoy church’ and that I ABSOLUTELY MUST ATTEND CHURCH. You also MUST give money. Holy greed and corruption batman! They teach all the garbage about men and women that I was told at school as well. I remember on a bible camp I complained about the Christian girls walking around wearing little clothing and was told that ‘men must control their sexual urges!!!’ Sure that’s true but how about we tell girls not to walk around practically in their underwear…

They can’t criticise women. They won’t tell women to submit to their husbands or that they have to have sex with them. It’s all man blaming.

If it wasn’t for all the nagging I’d get I would very rarely be in church on sunday.

        • Jon, you need to be like the Bereans who searched the Scriptures to see if what the Apostles said was true. Where does the Bible command that Christians must attend church and tithe? Get us an answer and post it here.

      • anglosaxon says:

Hebrews 10:25 “not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Christians must gather together. I don’t think that necessarily means a 1 and a half hour service every sunday morning and evening It could be gathering in someone’s house and reading the bible together and praying.

In the Old Testament tithing was commanded. Leviticus 27:30-32 “A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord. 31 Whoever would redeem any of their tithe must add a fifth of the value to it. 32 Every tithe of the herd and flock—every tenth animal that passes under the shepherd’s rod—will be holy to the Lord.”

I was not able to find any verses in the NT mandating tithing.

        • Excellent!

“not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Which is more characteristic of meeting together to encourage one another: Is it a church service under the authority of the clergy who can control the narrative, or is it at home in a Bible study with other Christians you have a relationship with? Others you can trust enough to share the personal details of your life.

Which would have more of an impact on someone who was not a Christian- inviting them to a structured worship service, or inviting them into your home so they can see how you actually live? Obviously if you were living out your faith and your life displayed that, coming into your home would showcase that difference.

There is a place for temple worship and being able to come together with other believers for worship, but that’s the frosting on the cake. The real work of study, growth and encouragement occurs with those we know and love… and is most unlikely to occur within a church.

Tithing was the 10% tax that ran the system of theocracy that first governed Israel before they rejected God and decided they wanted a king like everyone else. That system is over and done with. Ask your elders if we are free from the Law. If so, why are they claiming tithing is mandatory when there is no longer a temple and the sacrificial law is done away with due to Christ’s sacrifice?

Which brings us back to that difference between the formal worship service and the real work of Christianity in the home. Ever been to a Bible study where the plate was passed and a “tithe” was encouraged?

      • anglosaxon says:

At the church I currently attend there is no tithing but the elders put in the church covenant that we must give regularly to the Church and the need to give financially is stressed on occasion. The only reason why the elders want money is because of the expensive church building and all the full time employees. This wasn’t the case of the apostles, for example Paul had a job. Acts 18:3 “and because he was a tentmaker as they were, he stayed and worked with them.” I don’t know why we need full time church employees who rely on my money when Paul supported himself financially and still worked for God.

I would much, much prefer to meet with a group of Christians at someone’s house where we read the Bible, talk and pray together. I hate modern church. I don’t get anything out of it at all. It discourages me and pushes me away from Jesus. Bible studies in the home would be a good opportunity to talk to and meet Christian girls.

I haven’t been to a bible study where a tithe was requested but all the Bible studies I have been to have been directed by a leader(s) who decides what is being discussed and what you can say about it. We never open the Bible on say Genesis 3:16 and explore what it means. There would always be some bullet points on a piece of paper to ensure we don’t talk about any dangerous ideas such as men and women not being equal for example.

    Dear Fellas:

    Excellent post and subsequent discussion.

A woman’s desire is for a man who is fit to rule her, a man who rules over her. That is the essence of hypergamy and it behooves men to understand that. Men, be fit to rule.

The older I get, the more I appreciate leadership qualities generally.

There have been very few men who had my undying allegiance, but there have been a few.

Modern churches are not fairing well, but don’t tell Christians that. You can’t be “not in a church” because God commands us to be involved in a church! I realize you’re being sarcastic here, but that’s one of the great strengths of Protestant Christianity. “Where two or three are gathered together in my name…” etc.

If men are effectively going on strike in these organizations, so much the better. Many of them are riddled with poz and totally unfit for decent people to be associated with.

    • anglosaxon says:

Would you explain what you mean by ‘poz’ for me please? I’ve come across the word before but I don’t know what it means.

      • Boxer says:

        Dear Anglosaxon:

It was originally shorthand for “HIV Positive” and quickly morphed to mean any form of pathological degeneracy. It originated on an incredibly crass and offensive web forum I’ve been a member of for years (MPC).

    Sir
How does a Virgin balance being wise and being choosing. If guy we can go out for coffee if can close later night. No dates without sex. Don’t Message if don’t believe in sex outside on his profile.
What are are some fitness test men give for sexual purity?

    • Don’t be afraid to explain that you’re a virgin and the man who marries you will be the only man to have you. In other words, you have no baggage from previous men and he will get the best you have to offer. Unfortunately, the environment we live in is just as toxic for women who truly desire to be married as it is for men.

There is only one standard of sexual purity for a woman who is not married and that is virginity. Short of a physical exam to view the presence of an intact hymen, there is no test possible. Even then, hymen replacement surgery is available for a woman who is determined to lie about her sexual history and claim she is a virgin.

    All:

The discussions here and elsewhere in the christian manosphere are exactly those that started the Restoration Movement in the late 1800’s which late to the “Church of Christ” congregations you see throughout the U.S. today. While I am not a member of any such COC congregation, I have attended many in the last couple of years. While there will be some more liberal than others, they generally seek to pattern themselves after the 1st century church and are strong in patriarhcal teaching.
The women seem to take their roles as women serious and thus their chastity. I have observed that they are very feminine, keep themselves up and marry young. This is the closest thing I can find to a biblical “brick & mortar” church in my area. Maybe you gentlemen should seek out a congregation in yours. I will make one caveat, since they are congregational in polity, it is still possible for you to find a more liberal congregation, as liberalism knows no bounds and leaves no one in peace.

Failing that, I see no reason why men like ourselves shouldn’t start some sort of meet-up groups throughout the country so that we can get together, share ideas, study and generally support one another. Rest assured that the leftists do just that. They have always been better at organizing than us.

    • Samuel, read the “Sexual Morality” page linked in the menu at the top. If you can find a church that agrees with that, you’re in business. Otherwise, start a Bible Study in your home and build on that.

Learn Game, because what game can do in a church environment is amazing. I’m not talking about picking up women, I’m talking about establishing leadership. One of these days I’ll be doing a post on this.

  7. Pianoman says:

You stated, “God created hypergamy, it’s not an evolutionary development. God did it as part of the judgement of Woman in Genesis 3:16”.
Does that mean that when a woman divorces her husband to “trade up” to a higher status male it is because this is how God designed her?

    • Her desire is for the man who is fit to rule over her. That was a judgment, not the way God designed her. That judgment is also known as “the curse” on women.

The reason I didn’t call it part of the curse on Eve is because I think of it more as a curse on men.

  8. Pianoman says:

Is not a woman still responsible for her hypergamous choices that violate God’s law?

    • We know Eve ate of the fruit first and then gave it to Adam, who also ate of the fruit. Why is Adam credited with the first transgression through which sin entered the world; and not Eve?

Consider that God’s judgment of Eve came after that. Eve (and all women through her) was punished for what she did, yet, why did Adam get the responsibility for the sin?

      • Pianoman says:

Because Adam was the head of the race so that the actions of the head are also the actions of his descendants who were in him when he sinned. Just as Christians are righteous being in Christ their Head.

Never the less, each individual is also morally responsible for his own actions. Therefore, a woman who commits adultery to satisfy her hypergamy cannot blame it on the “curse”. Sin has disrupted the patriarchal system that God ordained leading women to rebel against male authority & men to rebel against God’s authority.

There is a hierarchy of authority even in the Godhead where the Father is first, the Son is second and the Holy Spirit is third although all are equal in the divine nature and attributes.

Whatever the curse is understood to mean, it cannot mean that a woman is absolved from responsibility for seeking a man more “fit to rule” her than her husband.

        • “Never the less, each individual is also morally responsible for his own actions.”

Read this post and consider that perhaps things are not as you think they are. Perhaps the situation with women is completely different from anything you’ve ever been taught.

“Whatever the curse is understood to mean, it cannot mean that a woman is absolved from responsibility for seeking a man more “fit to rule” her than her husband.”

Where you sit determines what you see. I perceive you are seeing such an action by a woman from the viewpoint of a man, judging the action as if she were a man instead of the woman she is. Implicit in your statement is her husband is actually fit to rule over her.

Do men have a responsibility to be fit to rule? She’s been declared incompetent, so who is responsible for her? Her man is, because he is her guardian. Does said man have the right to be a repulsive beta, get fat and sloppy, put her on a pedestal (knowing the true state of women, that’s a perversion) and supplicate to her? And if he does, wouldn’t you expect that incompetent woman to go looking for a better guardian?

The “he shall rule over you” was not needed to put man in charge of woman because the order of Creation already had Man in charge of woman. That was man being declared the guardian of woman.

One of the problems I’ve noticed among men is they have absorbed the doctrine of equality and because of that, they want to judge women as if they were men. They are not. They are women. Consider what Peter meant in 1st Peter 3:7 when he said women were the weaker vessel. In order to do that you’d have to study what he said to the women. He made it clear that the husband-wife relationship is a master-servant relationship. Genesis 3:16 explains why.

Having said that, sin is sin. Adultery is adultery. Responsibility and culpability is another matter when one considers the nature of women.

Thank you for your interesting response.

I have read your post about Eve.
    One question:
If Eve’s sin means that she is incompetent then why does
not the same sin on Adam,s part also make him incompetent?
Eve was deceived but Adam was not. He knew what he was doing.
To me that seems to make his sin more culpable.

I understand that men and women are not equal although they are
equal in value as human beings made in the likeness and image of God.
Especially a Christian couple are “heirs together of the grace of life”

I’ll comment on the rest later – short of time right now.
